Philosophy
Busy Bees Learning Center takes pride in the fact that we provide young children with a safe, clean, caring environment that stimulates them to learn. Our center is totally child oriented. The spacious classrooms are bright and colorful. Each is designed with educational materials, learning centers, and equipment to match the size and abilities of each age group.
Children are placed in small groups primarily by age to provide individual attention. Each child develops academically, physically, and socially with other children, at his or her own rate of development. Our approach to teaching is an overall approach. Children are given opportunities to learn from a wide range of "hands-on" experiences, utilizing a variety of methods and materials.
The program is staffed by supportive teachers and assistants with knowledge of child development and years of experience. Teachers facilitate learning as children play in the classrooms and outdoors. Daily activities vary with each age group but generally include: art, science, math, reading readiness, small and large motor activities, block play, stories, sand and water activities and music and movement.
